Always held on the first Saturday in August
 
Location: Swensson Park, Lindsborg, Kansas.  This is a large and HEAVILY SHADED PARK in the middle of the city.  Vehicles will park inside the park on the grass.  Just pick your favorite shaded location.

Make checks or money orders payable to "Chamber of Commerce" in the amount of $15.00 for pre-registration.  The registration fee increases to $20.00 the day of the show.  Pre-registration ends on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.  Register early.
 
Classes:
  • Top: Judges will rate each entry based on predetermined objective criteria.  Entries must be in finished condition.  This class is broken into five groups: 1940 & Earlier (5 awards), 1941 - 1956 (10 awards), 1957 to 1973 (10 awards), 1974 to 1997 (10 awards) and 1998 & Later (5 awards).
  • Unfinished: All unfinished entries will receive a certificate of participation.  This class will not be judged.
  • High School: Judges will rate each entry based on predetermined criteria.  Limited to entrants who have not yet reached their 19th birthday regardless of whether or not they are still in school.  This class is open to vehicles from any year.  Awards will be given to the top five entries.  Entrant must sign a verification of ownership at the registration table.
  • Best: These awards will be determined from the judges' sheets or by a guest judge based on predetermined objective criteria.

**Not available to production vehicles built in 1995 or later

 
Mayor's Choice: Lindsborg's Mayor will choose her favorite entry based on her own criteria.
Sheriff's Choice: McPherson County's Sheriff, Larry Powell, will choose his favorite entry based on his own criteria for probable cause to make a stop.
Police Chief's Choice: Lindsborg's Police Chief, Tim Berggren, will choose his favorite entry based on his own criteria for the entry most likely to receive a ticket within the Lindsborg City limits.
Kansas Highway Patrol’s Choice: The Kansas Highway Patrol will choose the vehicle most likely to be stopped by the KHP for no reason at all!
Municipal Judge's Choice: Whatever the judge wants because he is the Big Kahuna!
Participant's Choice: Each registered participant will vote for his or her 5 favorite entries. The entry with the most votes wins.
Multiple Awards: No entry can win more than 2 awards.  For example, if an entry receives a "Best" award, that entry cannot also receive a "Top" award.  An entry may receive one "Choice" award even if it received a "Top" or "Best" award.  An entry cannot receive two "Choice" or two "Best" awards.
 
Registration: Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. all entrants will bring their vehicles to Swensson Park (also called North Park) located at Swensson and North Main Streets.  The Chamber of Commerce will have a registration table in the park with everything you need to register your vehicle.
 
Judging: Judging will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 
Lunch: Lunch is available in the park or at many local restaurants.
 
Awards: All awards will be given out from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. in Swensson Park.  Everyone is welcome to continue enjoying the park's shade after the awards.  When leaving, please drive south on Main Street through the retail district on your way home.  The crowds love this.
