Bethany Church - Website

On the evening of August 19, 1869, the Swedish Evangelical Bethany Lutheran Church was born. A colony of immigrants voiced their souls' need in establishing the church. The present original structure is now over one hundred and twenty four years old.

Coronado Heights
Located 3 miles northwest of Lindsborg
It is a dominant geological feature of the Smoky Valley in central Kansas, three miles northwest of Lindsborg. It rises 300 feet above the surrounding plains. It is one of seven bluffs along the west side of the seven mile wide valley of the Smoky Hill River. Coronado Heights Park is located just north of McPherson County on the Saline County line. It is southernmost of the seven low hills which are sometimes referred to as the Spanish Buttes.  The park was crowned with the "Spanish Castle," built with federal WPA funds, in 1936.

Old Mill Museum & Heritage Park - Website

Standing tall on the banks of the Smoky Hill River, the Old Mill Museum preserves the early heritage of McPherson County, in particular, and other parts of central Kansas. The museum collects, preserves, researches, exhibits and interprets materials related to this heritage with special emphasis on the period from 1870 to 1910.

Swedish Pavillion - Website

Located in Heritage Park, the Swedish Pavillion was designed by Ferdinand Boberg, one of Sweden’s premier architects at the turn of the century.  The Swedish Pavilion is the only one of Boberg’s international exposition buildings in existence today and the only example of his work in the United States. It is also one of very few international buildings remaining from the St. Louis World’s Fair.
