Leadership Lindsborg

What is Leadership Lindsborg?
Leadership Lindsborg is a program design to:
- Strengthen the abilities of existing and emerging leaders in the greater Lindsborg area;
- Promote a vision of community development which recognizes the interdependence of the economic, cultural, social, political, educational, and spiritual dimensions of community life;
- Enhance understanding of the greater Lindsborg community, its heritage and traditions, and its future opportunities and challenges;
- Nurture cooperation within and among diverse elements in the greater Lindsborg community; and
- Facilitate the design and application of creative approaches to building a better tomorrow for the Lindsborg community.
Leadership Lindsborg participants will:
- Learn leadership skills and capacities in a creative way which can be used at work, home or volunteer activities;
- Increase their knowledge of Lindsborg and the surrounding area by participating in sessions focusing on Lindsborg history, heritage, economics, religion, cultural life, the arts, local government, state government, education and health;
- Network with people from Lindsborg and the surrounding area
Leadership Lindsborg Program:
The Leadership Lindsborg course consists of ten sessions from September through May with the exception of December. Sessions are held on Wednesdays and will begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. with lunch provided. The program combines educational presentations from a variety of local and state leaders, tours, and dialogues between community decision makers and class participants.
Social opportunities are also planned into the program to allow participants to become better acquainted and to network on common concerns and interests.
